Normal Operation
Under normal operation the exterior mirror control switch uses circuits 942 (RD/OG), 940 (DB/OG), 945 (YE/BK), 944 (DG/OG) or 943 (PK/OG) to control the exterior mirror movement.
- When ground is received through circuit 942 (RD/OG) or 944 (DG/OG) and power through circuit 945 (YE/BK), the LH or RH exterior mirror glass will move LEFT.
- When power is received through circuit 942 (RD/OG) or 944 (DG/OG) and ground through circuit 945 (YE/BK), the LH or RH exterior mirror glass will move RIGHT.
- When power is received through circuit 940 (DB/OG) or 943 (PK/OG) and ground through circuit 945 (YE/BK), the LH or RH exterior mirror glass will move UP.
- When ground is received through circuit 940 (DB/OG) or 943 (PK/OG) and power through circuit 945 (YE/BK), the LH or RH exterior mirror will operate DOWN.
Possible Causes
- Open in circuits 942 (RD/OG), 940 (DB/OG), 944 (DG/OG) or 943 (PK/OG)
- Inoperative exterior mirror control switch
- Inoperative exterior mirror motor
