Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair

EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CANISTER PURGE VALVE

Removal and Installation







1. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve electrical connector.







2. Disconnect the two EVAP canister purge valve vapor hose quick connect couplings.







3. Depress the EVAP canister purge valve release tab and release the valve from the bracket.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
