INSTRUMENT CLUSTER

Disassembly and Assembly
1. Remove the instrument cluster.







2. Remove the screws and remove the instrument cluster lens.







3. Remove the screws and remove the instrument cluster mask.







4. CAUTION: Handle gauges and components with care to avoid possible damage.

NOTE: Make no attempt to adjust the needle.

Remove the LH gauge assembly by lifting straight out from the instrument cluster housing.







5. Remove the RH gauge assembly by lifting straight out from the instrument cluster housing.







6. Push inward on the locking tabs and remove the transmission range indicator.







7. Remove the speedometer by lifting straight out from the instrument cluster housing.
8. Remove all the miniature bulbs.







9. Release the locking tab and remove the fuel indicator module.







10. CAUTION: When removing the gauge contact clips, be careful not to damage the instrument cluster printed circuit.

Remove all the gauge contact clips from the rear of the instrument cluster by compressing the clip ends together and pushing the clips through the back of the instrument cluster back plate. Discard the old clips.

11. Carefully remove the instrument cluster printed circuit.

12. NOTE: New gauge contact clips must be used for assembly.

To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
