WIPER MOTOR CONTINUOUS OPERATION

MERCURY:
2004 Sable

ISSUE

Some 2004 Taurus/Sable vehicles built 12/1/2003 through 4/1/2004, may exhibit a windshield wiper motor that continues to run after the wiper switch is shut off.

ACTION

To service, replace the wiper motor with new service part. Refer to Workshop Manual Section 501-16.
