Fuel Filler Hose: Service and Repair

FUEL TANK FILLER PIPE

REMOVAL
1. With vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. If the fuel tank is full, drain the fuel tank until the fuel level is at or below half.







4. Remove the filler neck screws.







5. Release the fuel tube hose clamps and quick release coupling and disconnect the hoses from the fuel tank tubes.







6. Remove the filler pipe assembly.
1 Remove the filler tube bolt.
2 Remove the filler tube.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
