Brake Pedal and Bracket - Adjustable

Removal and Installation





1. Remove the instrument panel lower steering column cover.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the instrument panel lower steering column cover.





2. Remove the brake pedal position switch.
1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Remove the clip.
3 Remove the switch and the bushing.





3. Cut the wire tie.





4. Disconnect the speed control deactivator switch electrical connector.





5. Disconnect the electrical connector.





6. Release the wiring harness retainer.





7. Release the accelerator cable.





8. Release the electrical connector from the brake pedal bracket.





9. Remove the nuts.





10. Remove the nuts.





11. Remove two bolts and the brake pedal and bracket.
12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
