Door Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair

DOOR DISARM SWITCH

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the door trim panel.
3. Remove the watershield.







4. Disconnect the latch lever from the door lock cylinder.
1 Remove the E-clip.
2 Disconnect the latch lever.







5. NOTE: The door disarm switch can be installed in more than one position. Before removing the switch from the cylinder it may be necessary to mark the position of the switch in relation to the lock cylinder.

Remove the door disarm switch.
- Disconnect disarm switch electrical connector.

INSTALLATION

1. NOTE: The door disarm switch can be installed in more than one position. Use the reference marks applied in the removal procedure to index the new door disarm switch to the lock cylinder.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
