Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

THROTTLE POSITION (TP) SENSOR

REMOVAL

NOTE: RH shown, LH similar.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) sensor and the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connectors.







3. Remove the bolts and the IAC sensor.







4. Remove the bolts and the TP sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
