Front Door Window Motor: Service and Repair

FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR

REMOVAL
1. Position the front door window glass in the full up position and secure with tape.
2. Remove the front door trim panel.







3. Remove the screws and the speaker.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.







4. If equipped, remove the screws and position the driver door module (DDM) aside.
5. Position the upper and lower watershields aside.







6. Disconnect the electrical connector.







7. Remove the front door window regulator motor screws.







8. NOTE: The window regulator motor and regulator assembly is shown removed from the vehicle.

Remove the window regulator motor.
- Partially separate the window motor from the regulator, then press the release tab on the regulator and remove the window regulator motor.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
