INSPECTION AND VERIFICATION

NOTE: The audio control module (ACM) is also referred to as the audio unit.

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the electronic audio system with the engine running and the vehicle in and out of motion.

Visual Inspection Chart:

2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.
3. If the fault is not visually evident, proceed to diagnose the audio system by:
- entering the speaker walk-around test.
