Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor


REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.






2. Remove the accelerator cable snow shield.







3. Disconnect the accelerator cable, speed control actuator cable, and the throttle return spring from the throttle body lever.







4. Remove the bolts, position the accelerator cable bracket aside.






5. Release the fuel charging wiring harness from the valve cover studs. Position the wiring harness away from the camshaft position sensor.







6. Remove the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor.
1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Remove the screws and the CMP.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
