Center Safety Belt

REMOVAL

NOTE: The center passenger safety belt is mounted on the passenger seat inboard rear mounting stud. Removal of the center passenger belt is similar to the center passenger safety belt buckle.

1. Move the driver seat forward.







2. Remove the two front seat rear track covers.







3. Remove the nuts.
4. Tilt the driver seat forward enough to remove the center passenger safety belt buckle from the stud.
5. Remove the center passenger safety belt buckle.

INSTALLATION

WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY, READ AND FOLLOW ALL WARNINGS, CAUTIONS AND NOTES AT THE BEGINNING OF THE REMOVAL PROCEDURE.

1. Tilt the driver seat forward enough to feed the buckle anchor through the slot in the seat track.
2. Lower the seat onto the rear track studs.
^ Make sure the buckle anchor is on the stud.







3. Install the nuts.
4. Install the front seat rear track covers.
5. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
