Child Safety Seat Tether Anchor - LATCH

REMOVAL
1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the rear seat backrest.







3. Remove the child safety seat tether anchor latch.
1 Position the rear insulator aside.
2 Remove the child safety seat tether anchor latch bolts.
3 Remove the tether latch.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ When installing the LATCH make sure the alignment tabs are correctly aligned with the slots in the floor pan sheet metal.

WARNING: IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE ANCHOR/LATCH BE TIGHTENED TO SPECIFICATION. OTHERWISE, THE CHILD'S SAFETY SEAT MAY NOT BE PROPERLY SECURED AND THE CHILD CAN BE INJURED IN CASE OF A SUDDEN STOP OR ACCIDENT.

NOTE: No attempt should h made to repair a child safety seat tether anchor LATCH. Install a new part if damage is verified.

2. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
