Seat Track: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

CAUTION: Use care when handling the seat and track assembly. Dropping the assembly or sitting on a seat not secured in the vehicle may result in damaged components.

1. Remove the front seat.







2. Disconnect the electrical connector.







3. Remove the nut.
4. Pull the buckle through the cushion opening.







5. Release the J-clip.







6. Release the J-clip.







7. Remove the bolts.







8. Remove the pivot bolt.







9. Disconnect the electrical connector.







10. Remove the bolts and the seat track assembly.

NOTE: The seat position sensor is attached to the track assembly.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
2. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
