Rear Door Latch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the watershield.







3. Remove the screw.







4. Pivot the door latch release handle and remove from the rod.







5. Remove the lock rod bellcrank rivet.







6. Disconnect the lock rod from the lock rod bellcrank.







7. Release the lock rod from the clip.







8. Open the clip and release the actuating rod.







9. Disconnect the electrical connectors.







10. Disconnect the door lock actuator electrical connector.







11. Remove the door lock actuator rivet.







12. Remove the screws.
13. Remove the door latch.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
