Front Door: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Disconnect the body harness electrical connectors from the components in the door.
3. Mark the hinge location on the door.

NOTE: Do not scribe the hinge location.







4. Remove the grommet and the body harness.







5. Remove the bolts and remove the door.

NOTE: An assistant is required to support the door during its removal.

INSTALLATION







1. Install the door and hand-tighten the bolts.







2. Align the door and tighten the bolts.







3. Install the grommet and connect the electrical connectors.
4. Install the door trim panel.
