Roof Opening Panel

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

NOTE: Make sure the sliding roof is in the closed position.

2. Remove the headliner.







3. Disconnect the drain tubes.







4. Disconnect the sliding roof motor electrical connector.







5. Disconnect the sliding roof panel relay.







6. Remove the 11 retaining bolts.







7. Remove the sliding roof opening panel frame by releasing it from the clips.

CAUTION: With the aid of another technician support the sliding roof panel.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

CAUTION: Make sure the sliding roof opening panel frame is correctly aligned in the roof before tightening the 11 bolts in the sequence shown.
