Lower Arm-RH

Removal





All vehicles

1. CAUTION: Use an Allen key to prevent the piston rod from rotating.

Loosen the suspension strut top mount nut by five turns.
2. Remove the wheel and tire.





3. Remove the splash shield.





4. Remove the lower arm to wheel knuckle pinch bolt.





5. CAUTION: Protect the ball joint seal using a soft cloth to prevent damage.

Detach the lower arm ball joint from the wheel knuckle.

6. Remove the lower arm.

7. Remove the lower arm.

Installation

1. CAUTION: Make sure the bolt heads are uppermost.

Install the lower arm.

2. CAUTION: Make sure the bolt heads are uppermost.

Install the lower arm.





All vehicles
3. Attach the lower arm ball joint to the wheel knuckle.





4. Install the lower arm to wheel knuckle pinch bolt.





5. Install the splash shield.
6. Install the wheel and tire.





7. CAUTION: Use an Allen key to prevent the piston rod from rotating.

Tighten the suspension strut top mount nut.
8. Check the front wheel alignment.
