Starter Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner.







3. Remove the starter motor upper bolts.

NOTE: The engine ground cable is secured by one of the starter motor bolts.







4. Cut the cable ties.
5. Raise and support the vehicle.







6. Disconnect the starter motor electrical connectors and remove starter motor.

INSTALLATION












1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
