Floor Console - Vehicles with Automatic Transaxle

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

NOTE: Position the selector lever in neutral before disconnecting the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the floor console rear screws.
- Raise the armrest to gain access (if equipped).
- Remove the rear cup holder to gain access (console without armrest).

NOTE: Floor console with armrest shown, floor console without armrest similar.

3. Fully apply the parking brake control lever.
4. Remove the ash tray and cigar lighter bezel (if equipped).







5. Remove the stowage tray (if equipped).
1 Push down on the power socket aperture.
2 Pull out the stowage tray.







6. Ease up the selector lever indicator bezel.
1 Remove the screw.
2 Ease up the bezel.
- Disconnect the bulb holder.







7. Disconnect the electrical connectors.







8. Disconnect the selector lever electrical connector.







9. Remove the terminal spacer from the selector lever electrical connector.







10. Remove the overdrive switch terminals from the electrical connector and remove the selector lever indicator bezel.







11. Remove the floor console front screws.







12. Remove the floor console.
- Disconnect the cigar lighter/power socket electrical connector.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
