Front Door Handle: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the door trim panel.







2. Peel back the watershield.

CAUTION: Do not touch the adhesive surface as re-bonding will be impaired.







3. Disconnect the lock cylinder actuator rod.







4. Disconnect the door handle actuator rod.
1 Rotate the clip through 90 degrees.
2 Disconnect the actuator rod.







5. Detach the door handle outer bezel.







6. Remove the door handle outer bezel.







7. Remove the exterior handle.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
