Cable and Conduit - Front
Removal and InstallationNOTE: Make sure the parking brake is in the released position.
1. Remove the scuff plate.
2. Pull the carpet back and push the front parking brake cable and conduit grommet through the floor pan.
3. Disconnect the front parking brake cable and conduit.
1 Disconnect the cable.
2 Squeeze the retainer and pull the cable and conduit out of the parking brake control.
4. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
5. While holding the rod, turn the adjustment nut until the front parking brake cable and conduit is free of the adjuster.
6. Squeeze the retainer to detach the cable and conduit from the body bracket and remove the cable and conduit.
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
8. Carry out the Parking Brake Cable Adjustment.
