Rear Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Remove the flexplate.

2. Using the special tools, remove the crankshaft rear oil seal.

Installation

1. NOTE: Lubricate the crankshaft rear oil seal lips with Super Premium SAE 5W-20 Motor Oil XO-5W20-QSP or equivalent meeting Ford specifications WSS-M2C153-H.

Using the special tools, install the crankshaft rear oil seal.
2. Install the flexplate.
