Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview
1. Verify the customer's concern by operating the vehicle to duplicate the condition.2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.
3. If the inspection reveals obvious concerns that can be readily identified, repair as required.
4. If the concern(s) remains after the inspection, run the Auto Test. Go to EVO Steering Diagnosis Without Air Suspension if not equipped with air suspension, or refer to With Air Suspension if equipped with air suspension. If any DTCs are retrieved, refer to EVO Control Module Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Index (for vehicles without air suspension) or refer to Air Suspension Control Module Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Index (for vehicles with air suspension).
