Lighting Control Module
REMOVAL1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
CAUTION: Prior to removal of the Lighting Control Module (LCM), it is necessary to upload module configuration information to a diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed.
2. Remove the LH instrument panel lower insulator.
1 Remove the pin-type retainers.
2 Disconnect the courtesy lamp.
3. If equipped with adjustable pedals, remove the accelerator pedals, and shaft.
4. Position the LCM aside.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Release the locking tab.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the LCM.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Check for correct operation.
CAUTION: Once the new LCM is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the diagnostic tool into the new module.
