Daytime Running Lamp Control Unit: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the battery ground cab1e.







2. Remove the sight shield.
^ Twist the clips.







3. Remove the Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) module.
1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Remove the bolt.
3 Remove the DRL module.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 6 km (10 miles) or more to learn the strategy.
