Principles of Operation

NOTE: The reversing lamps are not powered by the Lighting Control Module (LCM).

The reversing lamp system consists of the following:
^ reversing lamps in the rear panel deflector
^ circuit wiring and circuit protection
^ Digital Transmission Range (TR) sensor

With the transmission in REVERSE, the digital transmission range (TR) sensor contacts close and power is provided to the reversing lamp bulbs.
