EGR Tube: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
1. Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation hose.
2. Disconnect the intake air bypass hose.
3. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
2. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation hoses.
3. Disconnect Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve tube.
4. Disconnect the differential pressure feedback EGR sensor hoses from the EGR tube.
5. Raise and support the vehicle.
6. Remove the engine roll restrictor bolts.
7. Detach the engine roll restrictor and secure to one side.
8. Remove the engine roll restrictor bracket bolts.
9. Remove the engine roll restrictor bracket.
10. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve tube.
INSTALLATION
1. Loosely install the EGR valve tube lower union.
2. Lower the vehicle.
3. Install the EGR valve tube upper union.
4. Raise and support the vehicle.
5. Install the EGR valve tube lower union.
6. Install the engine roll restrictor bracket.
7. Install the engine roll restrictor bracket bolts.
8. Install the engine roll restrictor.
9. Install the engine roll restrictor bolts.
10. Lower the vehicle.
11. Install the differential pressure feedback EGR sensor hoses.
12. Install the positive crankcase ventilation hoses.
13. Install the air cleaner outlet tube.
1. Install the positive crankcase ventilation hose.
2. Install the intake air bypass hose.
3. Install the air cleaner outlet tube.
