Dual Converter Y-PipeRemoval
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Disconnect the Catalyst Monitor Sensor (CMS).
1 Unclip the wiring harness.
2 Disconnect the CMS.
3. Remove the CMS.
4. NOTE: Manual transaxle vehicle shown, automatic similar.
Remove the catalytic converter left-hand flange nuts.
5. Remove the catalytic converter right-hand flange nuts.

6. Remove the secondary catalytic converter inlet flange nuts.
Vehicles with automatic transaxle
7. Remove the flexible pipe inlet flange nuts.
- Remove the three nuts.
All Vehicles
8. Remove the dual converter Y-pipe bracket nut.
9. Remove the dual converter Y-pipe.
Installation
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
