Brake Fluid Reservoir
Removal1. CAUTION: If brake fluid is spilt on the paintwork, the affected area must be immediately washed down with cold water.
NOTE: Make sure the filler cap does not become contaminated.
Remove the reservoir filler cap.
1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Remove the cap.
2. Using a suitable suction device drain the reservoir.
Vehicles with manual transaxle
3. Disconnect the clutch master cylinder feed hose.
All vehicles
4. Remove the brake fluid reservoir.
^ Detach the two retaining clips.
5. Remove and discard the O-ring seals.
Installation
NOTE: After installation, bleed the brake system.
1. NOTE: Install new O-ring seals.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
