Rear Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

Special Tools:

Removal
1. Remove the flywheel.





2. Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft rear oil seal.

Installation
1. Lubricate the outer lips and the inner seat on the crankshaft rear oil seal with Super Premium SAE 5W-30 Motor Oil XO-5W30-QSP or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153-G.





2. Using the special tool, install the crankshaft rear oil seal.
3. Install the flywheel.
