Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the roof opening panel motor access panel.

NOTE: If possible make sure that the roof opening panel glass is in the closed position.







2. Remove the roof opening panel motor screws.







3. Disconnect the roof opening panel motor electrical connector.







4. Remove the roof opening panel module and motor assembly.

NOTE: The roof opening panel motor is removed as an assembly with the control module and the wiring harness.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. If necessary, synchronize the roof opening panel motor. For additional information, refer to Motor Synchronization.
