2000 Taurus/Sable Lower Intake Manifold Installation

1. Install the six (6) new fluorocarbon gaskets in the lower intake manifold assembly.





2. Install the lower intake manifold assembly and tighten the bolts in the sequence shown (Figure 10).

3. Connect the fuel injector electrical connectors (Figure 8).

4. Connect the fuel line spring lock (Section 310-00).

5. Connect the fuel pressure sensor:

a. Connect the electrical connector (Figure 7, View A).

b. Connect the vacuum line (Figure 7, View B).

6. Install the upper intake manifold (Section 303-01B).
