Engine Oil Dip Stick - Dip Stick Tube: Service and Repair

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the oil level indicator.





2. Remove the oil level indicator tube.
1. Remove the stud.
2. Remove the oil level indicator tube.





3. Inspect the O-ring seal at the end of the oil level indicator tube and install a new O-ring seal if necessary.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the O-ring seal with Super Premium SAE 5W-30 Motor Oil XO-5W30-QSP or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSS-M2C153-G.
