RH

Removal
1. Remove the upper intake manifold.





2. CAUTION: When removing the coils a slight twisting motion wiI1 break the seal and ease the removal.

Remove the RH coil-on-plugs.
1. Disconnect the three electrical connectors.
2. Remove the three bolts.
3. Remove the RH coil-on-plugs.





3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
1. Disconnect the differential pressure feedback Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) electrical connector.
2. Disconnect the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) electrical connector.
3. Disconnect the ignition interference capacitor electrical connector.





4. Disconnect the wiring harness from the LH valve cover stud and position aside.





5. Disconnect the wiring harness from the RH valve cover stud and position aside.





6. Remove the wiring harness nut and position the harness aside.





7. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation tube from the valve cover.





8. Remove the bolts, studs and the RH valve cover.
- Remove and discard the gasket.

Installation
1. Install a new valve cover gasket on the valve cover.





2. Position the valve cover and install the bolt and the studs in the sequence shown.





3. Connect the crankcase ventilation tube to the valve cover.





4. Position the wiring harness and install the nut.





5. Connect the wiring harness to the RH valve cover stud.





6. Connect the wiring harness to the LH valve cover stud.





7. Connect the electrical connectors.
1. Connect the differential pressure feedback EGR electrical connector.
2. Connect the HO2S electrical connector.
3. Connect the ignition interference capacitor electrical connector.





8. Install the RH coil packs.
1. Position the RH coil packs.
2. Install the three bolts.
3. Connect the three electrical connectors.
9. Install the upper intake manifold.
