Flex Plate: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Remove the transaxle.





2. Remove the flywheel.
- Use a suitable strap wrench to hold the crankshaft by the crankshaft pulley.
1 Mark the position of the flywheel and crankshaft flange.
2 Remove the flywheel bolts and the flywheel.

Installation





1. Install the flywheel.
- Use a suitable strap wrench to hold the crankshaft by the crankshaft pulley.
- Install the flywheel and tighten the bolts working diagonally.
2. Install the transaxle.
