Clutch System Bleeding
1. Bleed the clutch system.WARNING: Do not let brake fluid get onto the skin or into the eyes. If brake fluid comes into contact with the skin or eyes, rinse the affected places immediately with water.
CAUTION: If brake fluid comes into contact with the paint work, it should be washed off immediately with water.
NOTE: Ensure absolute cleanliness when topping up brake fluid.
NOTE: Do not reuse brake fluid.
2. Top up the brake fluid reservoir with Brake fluid.
- Attach a proprietary bleed jar to the bleed nipple and open the bleed nipple one turn.
- Depress the clutch pedal repeatedly until the emerging fluid is free of bubbles; always make sure that there is sufficient fluid (5 mm above MAX.) in the reservoir.
3. Bleed the clutch system (cont.)
- After bleeding, tighten the bleed nipple.

- After bleeding, depress the clutch ten times and check that it is functioning.
4. NOTE: Ensure absolute cleanliness when topping up brake fluid.
Check the brake fluid level.
- The fluid level should be between the MIN and MAX marks. If the level drops below the MIN mark, the brake warning indicator will light up.
- As necessary, top up the brake fluid reservoir with DOT3 C6AZ-19542-AA brake fluid.
