Battery Tray

REMOVAL
1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery.
2. Remove the air cleaner. For additional information, refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.







3. Disconnect the battery cables from the clips.







4. Remove the rear battery mounting clamp bolt.
^ Push down, swing out to remove.







5. Remove the insulation pad from the battery tray.
1 Remove the securing strips.
2 Remove the insulation.







6. Disconnect the battery junction box.
1 Remove the cable ties.
2 Remove the retaining bolt.
^ Position the battery junction box aside.







7. Remove the seven battery tray bolts and the battery tray.

INSTALLATION












1. To Install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Make sure the ground cables are clean of dirt and corrosion prior to installation.
