Dual Converter Y-Pipe

Removal
All Vehicles
1. Raise and support the vehicle.





2. Disconnect the electrical connector at the catalyst Monitor Sensor (CMS).
1 Unclip the wiring harness.
2 Disconnect the electrical connector.





3. Remove the CMS.





4. NOTE: Manual transaxle vehicle shown, automatic transaxle similar.

Remove the left-hand flange nuts.





5. Remove the right-hand flange nuts.

Vehicles with manual transaxle





6. Remove the catalytic converter inlet pipe flange nuts.

Vehicles with automatic transaxle





7. Remove the catalytic converter inlet pipe flange nuts.

All Vehicles





8. Remove the dual converter Y-pipe bracket nut and remove the dual convertor Y-pipe.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
