Daytime Running Lamp Relay: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the cover from the battery junction box.







3. Remove the Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) relay (R1).
1 Low beam relay (R9)
2 High beam relay (R10)
3 DRL relay (R1)

WARNING: THE DRL RELAY (R1) GETS VERY HOT DURING OPERATION. MAKE SURE THE RELAY HAS COOLED BEFORE HANDLING IT. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS INSTRUCTION MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
