Flywheel Clutch Surface Inspection

1. Use a fine grade sandpaper (400 grit) for polishing or as necessary machine the flywheel surface to remove any defects.





2. After resurfacing' the flywheel must be within specification.
1 The surface runout must not exceed specification.
2 The surface finish must be within specification.
3 The major diameter of any dowel pin must be below the new flywheel surface.
4 The clutch pressure plate bolts must screw into the flywheel by hand to within specification of the new flywheel surface.
