Roof Opening Panel Frame

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

NOTE: Make sure the roof opening panel is in the closed position.

2. Remove the headliner.







3. Disconnect the drain tubes.







4. Disconnect the roof opening panel electrical connectors.







5. Remove the 12 retaining bolts.







6. Remove the roof opening panel frame.
^ With the aid of another technician to support the roof opening panel, compress the legs of the four retaining clips and lower the roof opening panel cassette.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

CAUTION: Make sure the roof opening panel frame is correctly aligned in the roof aperture before tightening the 12 retaining bolts in the sequence shown.

NOTE: Inspect the weatherstrip. Install a new weatherstrip if necessary.
