CHILD LOCK DOOR LABEL

AFFECTED VEHICLES:
CERTAIN 2000 MODEL YEAR CONTOUR AND MYSTIQUE

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Open the driver side rear door of the vehicle to access the child lock door label.

2. Inspect the label. If the "LOCKED" arrow is pointing to the right (towards the inside of the car), DO NOT REPLACE THE LABEL. Close the door and release the vehicle. If to, continue with next step.





3. Remove the incorrect child lock door label from the inner surface of the driver side rear door. See Figure 1.

4. Using isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth, remove any residual adhesive from the door.

5. Peel the backing off the new child lock door label and install it per the illustration shown. See Figure 1
