Frame: Description and Operation

FRAME ASSEMBLY

The body of the Contour/Mystique is a self - supporting construction without a separate frame.

The large assemblies are supported by a subframe at the front and a crossmember at the rear of the vehicle.

The subframe supports the lower radiator connection, the suspension arm, the stabilizer bar, the steering gear, the transmission mountings and the engine roll restrictors.

The crossmember carries the rear wheel suspension.
