Trunk / Liftgate Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Remove the luggage compartment trim panel.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Remove the clips and lift out the trim.







2. Using a suitable marker pen mark the position of the luggage compartment latch.







3. Remove the latch retaining bolts.







4. Disconnect the luggage compartment lamp switch electrical connector.







5. Remove the latch.
1 Disconnect the latch cables.
2 Disconnect the release solenoid operating rod.
3 Remove the latch.







6. Unclip and remove the luggage compartment lamp switch.


INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
