Trunk / Liftgate Latch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Remove the luggage compartment trim panel.
1 Remove the screws.
2 Remove the clips and lift out the trim panel.







2. Pry the retainer out from the right-hand side luggage compartment side trim panel.







3. Remove the actuating cable.
1 Pull the trim panel forwards.
2 Remove the actuating cable.







4. Remove the luggage compartment door lock cylinder retaining clip.







5. Remove the luggage compartment door lock cylinder.







6. Remove the luggage compartment door lock cylinder housing.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
