Audio Unit

Radio Removal Tool:

SPECIAL TOOL(S)

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground lead.

NOTE: Make sure the radio key code is available before disconnecting the battery or audio control unit electrical connectors and note the radio station presets.







2. Remove the audio control unit.
^ Insert the Radio removal tool into the locating holes until they click into place.
1 Pull the tools gently to the left and right of the unit to release the locking tangs.
2 Pull the unit out of the instrument panel.







3. Remove the audio unit.
1 Disconnect the power electrical connector.
2 Disconnect the audioline/speaker connector.
3 Disconnect the antenna cable.


INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Enter the audio control unit unit keycode and re - program the pre - set radio stations.

NOTE: When installing the audio control unit make sure the rear support engages on the carrier.
