Valve Guide Seal: Service and Repair

Special Tools:

Removal
1. Remove the valve spring.

2. Using the special tools, remove the valve stem seal.
1. Install the special tool.
2. Install the special tool to remove the seal.

Installation

1. Note: Cover the valve collet groove on the valve stem with a protective sleeve.

Using the special tool, install the new valve stem seal.
^ Remove the protective sleeve.

2. Install the valve spring.
