Oil Pick Up/Strainer: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Remove the oil pan.





2. Remove the oil pump screen and cover tube.
1. Remove the nut.
2. Remove the bolts.

Installation

1. Note: Inspect the oil pump screen cover and tube O-ring seal and install a new one, if necessary.





Position the oil pump screen cover and tube and install the bolts.





2. Install the bracket nut.
^ Stage 1: 5 Nm
^ Stage 2: 45 degrees

3. Install the oil pan.
