System Description

The wiper and washer circuits are protected by fuse F20 located in the central junction box.

Precise information relating to the location of the components is contained in the EVTM.

Front wiper system
The front wiper system consists of the following components:
^ Two wiper arms and blades.
^ Wiper motor.
^ Wiper arm linkage.
^ Wiper relay, located in the Central Junction Box (CJB).
^ Central Timer Module (CTM), located in the CJB.
^ Multifunction switch, incorporating
- front and rear wiper switch
- front and rear washer switch
- delay control rotary switch.

Rear wiper system
The rear wiper system (dependent on model) consists of the following components:
^ Wiper arm and blade.
^ Wiper motor.
^ Multifunction switch, incorporating
- front and rear wiper switch
- front and rear washer switch
- delay control rotary switch.

Windshield washer

WARNING: WASHER FLUID CONTAINS THE POISONOUS SUBSTANCE METHANOL. OBSERVE THE SAFETY RULES. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY.

CAUTION: Operate the washer for a maximum of 10 seconds. Do not operate with an empty washer reservoir.

The windshield washer system consists of following components:
^ Washer reservoir, underneath the right-hand front fender
^ Washer pump for windshield washer and rear window washer, on the outside of the washer reservoir
^ Two adjustable washer nozzles on the hood
^ Multifunction switch, incorporating
- front and rear wiper switch
- front and rear washer switch
- delay control rotary switch.

Rear window washer system
The rear window washer system consists of following components:
^ Washer reservoir, underneath the right-hand front fender
^ Washer pump for windshield washer and rear window washer, on the outside of the washer reservoir
^ One adjustable washer nozzle on the liftgate
^ Multifunction switch, incorporating
- front and rear wiper switch
- front and rear washer switch
- delay control rotary switch.
